摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery that has a structure in which a cleavage valve normally operates to prevent gas from accumulating, and that is excellent in gas discharge characteristics and safety in the event of an anomaly. <P>SOLUTION: A battery can 101 incorporates a wound group 102 of a flat-winding type, a positive electrode collector plate 104, and a negative electrode collector plate 105. A cleavage valve is provided at both ends of the battery can 101. Positive electrode tabs 405 are bundled and welded to the positive electrode collector plate 104 arranged at one end of the wound group 102. Negative electrode tab 406 are bundled and welded to the electrode collector plate 105 arranged at the other end. In one region of two regions into which the battery can 101 is divided by a surface parallel to a flat surface of the battery can 101, there are provided a tab bonding part 601 of the positive electrode side, to which the positive electrode tabs 405 are welded, and an aperture 602 of the negative electrode side. In the other region of the two regions into which the battery can 101 is divided by the surface parallel to the flat surface of the battery can 101, there are provided the tab bonding part 601 of the negative electrode side, to which the negative electrode tabs 406 are welded, and the aperture 602 of the positive electrode side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT
