<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To determine a node executing a specific function from many nodes in an autonomic distributed manner without providing restrictions independently of a central server. <P>SOLUTION: A potential variable and a frequency variable of the own device are stored. A distance between the own device and an adjacent device and a receiving direction are detected. A potential variable of the adjacent device is received. The received potential variable, the distance, and the receiving direction are stored. The potential variable of the own device is updated by a predetermined calculation formula based on the potential variable from the adjacent device, the distance and the receiving direction, and the potential variable and the frequency variable of the own device. The potential variable of the own device is transmitted to the adjacent device. It is determined whether or not a predetermined function is executed based on the potential variable of the own device and the potential variables of the respective adjacent devices. This determination means uses a fact that the potential variable of the own device is larger than the potential variables of all the adjacent devices as one of conditions for execution of the predetermined function. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
