<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing roller for an electrophotographic apparatus that prevents toner particles from being adhered and fixed to a layer forming blade for a long period, and provides fine images. <P>SOLUTION: A developing roller 10 includes a shaft body 12, and a rubber elastic layer 14 formed around the outer periphery of the shaft body 12. The rubber elastic layer 14 has on the surface a plurality of protrusions 16a formed with the use of type transfer and having ratio of height h to diameter ϕ<SB POS="POST">1</SB>(h/ϕ<SB POS="POST">1</SB>) of 0.5 or more. The surface of the rubber elastic layer 14 on which the plurality of protrusions 16a are formed is subjected to surface modification to improve toner releasability. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
