<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lithium ion secondary battery capable of reducing capacity drop due to repeated charge/discharge and storage at high temperature. <P>SOLUTION: A lithium ion secondary battery of the present invention comprises: positive and negative electrodes capable of absorbing/desorbing lithium ions; and a nonaqueous electrolyte obtained by dissolving a fluorine-containing lithium salt in a nonaqueous solvent. An electrode active material constituting at least one of the positive electrode and the negative electrode contains an organic acid metal salt. The organic acid metal salt includes a polymer organic acid having a molecular weight of 50,000 or more and a metal ion reacting with hydrogen fluoride to form fluoride, and is non-swellable and insoluble against the nonaqueous electrolyte. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
