<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce or prevent a swing back phenomenon after a panning operation, without stopping an image blur correction. <P>SOLUTION: An angular velocity sensor 102 detects a shake applied to an imaging apparatus. An HPF calculation part 107 attenuates the low frequency component of the output of the angular velocity sensor 102. An image blur correction amount is calculated based on the output and the image blur correction is performed by the drive control of a correction optical system 119. An intermediate value is held as the calculation results for each sampling time by a digital high pass filter constituting the HPF calculation part 107. When a panning control part 110 detecting the panning operation of the imaging apparatus 100 detects the completion of the panning operation, the intermediate value held by the digital high pass filter is initialized by the panning control part 110. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
