<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor integrated circuit for a low noise block down converter (LNB) that simply accommodates satellite broadcasts around the world by means of single circuit specifications. <P>SOLUTION: Setting a predetermined terminal voltage of a semiconductor integrated circuit 100 sets a dividing ratio of a variable frequency divider 110 of a PLL circuit 108 to produce a desired local oscillation frequency. The semiconductor integrated circuit includes a first dividing ratio setting section for controlling the dividing ratio of the variable frequency divider in accordance with a supplied DC potential, and a second dividing ratio setting section for controlling the dividing ratio of the variable frequency divider in accordance with whether there is any supplied pulse signal. The dividing ratio control on the variable frequency divider using the first dividing ratio setting section or the second dividing ratio setting section sets the oscillation frequency of a local oscillator 109 to a desired frequency. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
