<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a printing device that shortens a time required for completing a plurality of pieces of update processing. <P>SOLUTION: The printing device includes: a command read-in device for receiving a command for making the printing device to execute the plurality of update processing by a single command and analyzing a content of each update processing from the received command; a command classifying device for classifying each analyzed update processing into first update processing that is executed prior to a restart and second update processing that is executed following the restart; a command executing device for executing each of the classified update processing while rearranging execution orders of the first update processing, the restart and the second update processing so that each of the classified update processing is executed by a single restart; and a print execution device for executing printing according to updated various setting. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
