<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a cold rolled steel sheet superior in chemical conversion treatability and corrosion resistance after coating. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for producing a cold rolled steel sheet, a surface of a cold rolled steel sheet is subjected to electrogalvanizing so that an attached amount of Zn is 100-5,000 mg/m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>, and the cold rolled steel sheet is brought into contact with a P-containing aqueous solution after water washing.
