<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage type water heater capable of preventing the hunting of mixing temperature due to the unstable opening and closing movement of a check valve to thereby perform the stable control of temperature adjustment. <P>SOLUTION: The storage type water heater includes: the check valve 16 disposed on at least any one of an upper hot water outlet pipe 3 and a middle hot water outlet pipe 4; a middle mixing valve 5 which mixes hot water from the upper hot water outlet pipe 3 and hot water from the middle hot water outlet pipe 4 to be a middle setting temperature; a middle hot-water supply temperature sensor 11 which detects the temperature of hot water mixed by the middle mixing valve 5; and a hot-water supply mixing valve 8 which mixes hot water from the middle mixing valve 5 and hot water from a water supply bypass pipe 7 to be a hot-water supply setting temperature; wherein the opening degree of the middle mixing valve 5 is feedback-controlled based on detection temperature of the middle hot-water supply temperature sensor 11, and when a flow rate of hot water outlet from the side, on which the check valve 16 is disposed, is supposed to be small in the upper hot water outlet pipe 3 or the middle hot water outlet pipe 4 upon hot-water supply, the opening degree of the middle mixing valve 5 is fixed to prevent the unstable opening and closing movement of the check valve 16 due to fluctuation of the opening degree of the middle mixing valve 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
