COLOR ADJUSTMENT METHOD AND IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color adjustment method for easily adjusting a color to obtain similar output results to a plurality of image forming devices and to provide an image forming system.

SOLUTION: Control sections 10 of second to (n)-th image forming devices 100 as sample machines input gradation characteristics of respective patches of the first image forming device 100 as a target machine. The control sections of the sample machines associate the gradation characteristics obtained in the sample machines with the gradation characteristics of the respective patches of the target machine. The control sections of the sample machines generate relative gamma curves corresponding to respective colors from a single color to n-order color for correcting gradation of inputted image data, so as to obtain density indicated by the gradation characteristics of the respective patches of the target machine.
