<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an abnormality detecting system of an inkjet printer head that can detect presence or absence of abnormal ejection of the inkjet printer head by sensing an oscillation at a time after ejection of ink by using a piezoelectric element, and to provide a method of detecting an abnormality thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The abnormality detecting system includes an amplifying section 130 which is connected with the piezoelectric element 120 for applying a pressure to an ink chamber and the ground and amplifies a voltage generated on the piezoelectric element 120, and a detecting section 150 that detects presence or absence of normal ejection of ink on the basis of the voltage amplified by the amplifying section 130. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
