<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiband-adaptive antenna device having an extremely simple configuration without providing a plurality of antenna elements. <P>SOLUTION: In an antenna device in a wireless communication device configured so that a monopole antenna 1 for a predetermined frequency band is fixed to a circuit board 2 by a fixing metal fitting 5, the fixing metal fitting 5 is utilized as an another loop-like antenna having a different band from the frequency band of the monopole antenna 1.
