<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for downloading update software in a strong hierarchy receiver which does not require communication means as an essential requirement. <P>SOLUTION: A strong hierarchy reception method comprises: a step S4 of acquiring text information including position information related to a service base providing software update service in the case of a target receiver, and storing the text information into a nonvolatile memory (Flash) and the like; a step S5 of making the text information be displayed on a display screen; a step S7 of receiving a user's instruction in which the method progresses to a step S9 when the instruction is Yes; the step S9 of starting a map application; a step S10 of starting a GPS, and acquiring present position information of a strong hierarchy receiver 1; a step S11 of retrieving a service station nearest to the strong hierarchy receiver 1; and a step S12 of making the nearest service station map information be displayed on the display screen of the strong hierarchy receiver 1 or starting guidance by the GPS. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
