<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a print control device, method and program, which can control the propriety of reception of a print job according to the occurrence of an event related to printing. <P>SOLUTION: The print control device includes: a registration means for registering the propriety of the reception of the print job of a plurality of events related to printing by a printing means; a detection means for detecting the occurrence of the event registered by the registration means; and a determination means for determining the propriety of the reception of a subsequent print job according to the occurrence of the event detected by the detection means. The device determines whether the event occurred in an image forming apparatus is registered as the event for changing job transfer control.
