<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust gas purifying apparatus for a diesel engine, in which stable exhaust gas purification is performed without deteriorating fuel efficiency. <P>SOLUTION: The exhaust gas purifying apparatus includes a primary particulate trapping filter 22 installed in an exhaust line 21 of the diesel engine, a secondary exhaust line 21A branched from the exhaust line 21 upstream of the main particulate trapping filter 22, a secondary particulate trapping filter 22A installed in the secondary exhaust line 21A, and having a smaller soot storage capacity than the primary particulate trapping filter 22, and a differential pressure measuring part 22B for measuring differential pressure produced between the inlet and the outlet of the secondary particulate trapping filter 22A. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
