<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a geared motor capable of suppressing rolling noise caused by a clearance between a shaft and a bearing while suppressing an increase in part cost and capable of suppressing thrust noise generated while a rotor is moving in a thrust direction. <P>SOLUTION: The geared motor includes: a motor 10 formed by projecting a shaft 15 supported by a pair of bearings 21a, 21b to an output side and a non-output side; a worm gear 3 fitted on the output side of the shaft; a worm wheel 4 engaging with the worm gear; a first side pressure application member 8 in contact with an end face of the shaft on the output side; and a second side pressure application member 9 in contact with an end face of the shaft on the non-output side. The first side pressure application member 8 applies a force F<SB POS="POST">11</SB>in a direction separating from the worm wheel to the shaft and applies a force F<SB POS="POST">12</SB>in a direction on the non-output side.
