<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a latch-up at a thermal shutdown of a DC voltage conversion device using MOSFETs as switching elements. <P>SOLUTION: A DC voltage conversion device 1 includes: a high side MOSFET Q1; a low side MOSFET Q2; a detection section (12, 14, 15) for detecting that the temperature of the DC voltage conversion device 1 exceeds a threshold; a control section 10 for generating control signals to switch the high side MOSFET Q1 and the low side MOSFET Q2; and a holding section (13, 16) for holding the low side MOSFET Q2 on for a predetermined period after the stop of the control signal to switch the high side MOSFET Q1 when the control signals to switch the MOSFETs Q1 and Q2 are stopped to stop the output of the DC voltage conversion device 1, if the output stop of the DC voltage conversion device 1 is in response to the temperature of the DC voltage conversion device 1 exceeding the threshold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
