DRIVING SUPPORT DEVICE AND METHOD THEREOF

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To notify of a comparison result based on comparison between acceleration detected by an accelerometer for detecting acceleration generated while a vehicle is being driven and a boundary area of the acceleration which a driver has set before starting to drive the vehicle.

SOLUTION: A driving support device 21 comprises: accelerometers 43 and 45 for detecting the acceleration generated while a vehicle is being driven; a memory 33 for storing a friction circle representing a boundary area of the acceleration which a driver has set before starting to drive the vehicle; a comparison means 27 for comparing the acceleration detected by the accelerometer while the vehicle is being driven and the friction circle; and a notification means 39 for notifying of a comparison result based on comparison by the comparison means 27 while the vehicle is being driven.
