<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a model prediction control technique for compensating dead time in a control system in which an air intake system and a fresh air amount control system interfere with each other. <P>SOLUTION: An engine control program is configured to introduce a state observer in order to estimate the internal state regarding air intake pressure and a state vector representing the internal state regarding a fresh air amount by added by representing dead time properties by the Pade approximation, and to use a system matrix including an interference element between an air intake pressure control system and a fresh air amount control system. Therefore, it is possible to compensate dead time by model prediction control. Further, it is configured to set a matrix, representing an amount of dead time compensation and engine properties, according to the operation mode, thereby allowing the execution of stable control following the operation mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
