<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a web conveyance device capable of excellently correcting a position of a web even when the web has slipped on a surface of a rocking roller. <P>SOLUTION: This web conveyance device 1 conveying a web W includes: a rocking roller 10 capable of rocking in a lateral direction of the web W; an edge sensor 30 detecting one edge position in the lateral direction of the web W; and a control device 40 controlling the rocking roller 10. In the controller 40, when it is determined that sliding is generated in the web W, if it is determined that the web W is moving so as to deviate from a target position, a speed Vr toward a direction opposite of a deviation direction of the web W is applied to the rocking roller 10, if it is determined that the web W is moving so as to approach the target position, a speed Vr toward the deviation direction of the web W is applied to the rocking roller 10 to reverse the rocking direction of the rocking roller 10, and if the rocking roller 10 is positioned near a center position, rocking of the rocking roller 10 is stopped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
