<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fit a protective reinforcing plate to a metal-made or alloy-made honeycomb core easily and firmly so that a linear motion moving body may not lose horizontal precision and durability. <P>SOLUTION: A saddle 1 or a table 2 includes a honeycomb core 10 and upper and lower protective reinforcing plates 20. The honeycomb core 10 is formed of a plurality of honeycomb cells 10A of the same length. The honeycomb cell 10A is made of a metal or an alloy having a specific gravity smaller than that of steel. The protective reinforcing plate 20 is made from a carbon fiber-reinforced plastic and is fixed to the honeycomb core 10 by a bolt 30. The bolt 30 is screwed with a nut 40 while interposing a plurality of space tubes 50 of the same length, each of which is arranged for surrounding a shaft 30B of the bolt 30 so that both ends thereof are contacted respectively with a seat face 30A of the bolt 30 and the seat face 40A of the nut 40 and each of which has the strength equal to or higher than the tightening force of the bolt 30, between the bolt and the nut. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
