<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To miniaturize a device by reducing an inflow current amount into a smoothing capacitor serially connected to the input side of a DC/DC converter and reducing capacitance necessary for suppressing voltage fluctuation. <P>SOLUTION: An electric power conversion device comprises: a V-connection type AC/DC converter in which a first phase and a second phase of a three-phase AC power source are connected to respective AC terminals of three level-type conversion circuits and a third phase is connected to an intermediate terminal of a capacitor serial circuit comprised of positive and negative electrode side capacitors, and positive and negative electrode side DC/DC converters connected to the positive and negative electrode side capacitors respectively. When electric power of the three-phase AC power source is converted by the V-connection type AC/DC converter, and desired electric power is supplied to DC load by the positive and negative electrode side DC/DC converters from DC power, the positive and negative electrode side DC/DC converters adjust load sharing according to respective DC output fluctuations of the V-connection type AC/DC converter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
