<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a memory check for a memory module with an error occurred, regardless of access frequency to a memory module with less access number, so as to early detect a failure of the memory module. <P>SOLUTION: A computer 100 includes an error detection unit 110, a log collection unit 120, a diagnostic unit 130, a memory check unit 140, a failure processing unit 150, and a failure log information storage unit 160.
