<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation-sensitive resin composition for forming a color layer and others, from which a color filter free of residue or base contamination can be formed with high yield even when the composition has a high pigment concentration, and a pattern having sufficient surface smoothness can be formed. <P>SOLUTION: The radiation-sensitive resin composition for forming a color layer comprises: (A) a pigment containing at least one kind selected from the group consisting of a red pigment, a green pigment and a blue pigment; (B) a dispersant having an amine value (mgKOH/g in unit) of 57/0.52 to 200; (C) an alkali-soluble resin; (D) a polyfunctional monomer represented by an ester of dipentaerythritol pentaacrylate and a dicarboxylic acid; and (E) a photopolymerization initiator.
