<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera or a camera system which is capable of quickly and accurately measuring a backlash amount changed with time. <P>SOLUTION: In the camera or the camera system, the camera includes a mode in which a camera main body measures the backlash amount and when the mode for measuring the backlash amount is started, first, first AF evaluation data is obtained in the vicinity of the focal position of an AF lens group, then, the AF lens group is reversely rotated and driven from the vicinity of the focal position by a predetermined number of pulses in a direction opposite to a direction where the AF lens group is driven to the vicinity of the focal position, to obtain second AF evaluation data, and then, the backlash amount is calculated from the predetermined number of pulses at the time point when a difference between the first AF evaluation data and the second AF evaluation data is confirmed, to be stored. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
