<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump hot-water heater having high efficiency which surely suppresses an excessive rise of a condensation temperature in a heat pump cycle and reduces the power consumption of a circulation pump. <P>SOLUTION: When the number of an indoor radiator 125 is reduced from N1 to N2, which circulates a water heat medium between the heat pump hot-water heater and a water heat medium heat exchanger 115, while controlling an operation frequency Fc of a compressor 111 so that a going temperature Two becomes a target going temperature Twot, the heat pump hot-water heater controls a circulation pump 121 so that a flow rate becomes the flow rate obtained by multiplying that of the water heat medium before changed by N2/N1.
