<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ram chair for a fastening device that can prevent deformation caused by oil pressure, and to provide the fastening device equipped with the same. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided the ram chair 10, which is used for a fastening device for rotating and fastening a nut screwed to a bolt in a state that one end of the bolt is grasped and tensile force is applied in an axial direction, and in which compressive force is applied in an axial direction as reaction force of the tensile force, includes a plurality of holes 18 for inserting a rotation means for rotating the nut around the axis line of the bolt in a roughly cylindrical sidewall provided on the outer periphery of the nut.
