<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce costs. <P>SOLUTION: The connector A comprises: a first housing 10; a second housing 40; a lock arm 12; and a detection member 30 provided so as to displace from a standby position to a detection position. In the first housing 10, a deflection part 18 having a part 21 to be visually recognized is formed, a second projection 36 (an interference part) is formed at the detection member 30, the deflection part 18 interferes with and elastically deflects a second projection 36 in a process that the detection member 30 moves from the standby position to the detection position and when the detection member 30 arrives at the detection position, the deflection part 18 elastically returns.
