<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color processing apparatus and a color processing program capable of obtaining the solution of the inverse function of a function indicating the input/output characteristic of an output device even when divergence occurs in a calculation process. <P>SOLUTION: A first calculation part 1 repetitively calculates a successive solution using the inverse matrix of the sensibility matrix of the input/output characteristic function of an output device, thereby successively calculates a second approximate chrominance signal on the basis of a given first chrominance signal. A determination part 2 determines whether the successive solution calculated by the first calculation part 1 is divergent or not. If the successive solution is determined to be divergent by the determination part 2, a second calculation part 3 calculates the successive solution by a method different from that used in the first calculation part 1 such as a method which does not use the inverse matrix of the sensibility matrix or a method changed so as to avoid divergence even when using the inverse matrix. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
