<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a railroad crossing warning lamp which emits light almost uniformly to surroundings at 360 degrees with a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: The railroad crossing warning lamp 1 is placed at a railroad crossing and includes a cylindrical light source section 3, a translucent cover section 4 covering the light source section, and a plurality of back plates 5 extending radially in a plane view at a peripheral side of the cover section 4. The cylindrical light source section 3 emits light almost uniformly to surroundings at 360 degrees.
