<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route guidance system capable of guiding either an automotive route or a multimodal route in line with a desire of a user. <P>SOLUTION: A route guidance system performs to: search an automotive route as well as a multimodal route (S11 and S20); determine an advantageous route between the automotive route and the multimodal route (S21); when determining that the multimodal route is more advantageous than the automotive route, notify a crew member of a vehicle of a summary for route selection indicating an existence of the multimodal route more advantageous than the automotive route (S13); when determining that the automotive route is more advantageous than the multimodal route and when provision of the multimodal route is not requested, present the automotive route to the crew member (S17); and when the provision of the multimodal route is requested, present the multimodal route to the crew member (S16). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
