<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lever type connector capable of easily mounting a grommet without enlarging a connector housing for mounting the grommet, and to provide the lever type connector capable of easily discriminating by appearance visual inspection whether or not mutual fitting connection between the connector housings is normally completed. <P>SOLUTION: A lever 30 rotatably mounted in a first connector housing 10 comprises: a lever body 31 for pulling the first connector housing 10 into a second connector housing 20 by rotation; and an operation plate part 32 extended from the rear end of the lever body 31. In the state of completing mutual fitting between the connector housings, the operation plate part 32 moves to the side of a connector fitting plate 3 in a state parallel to the connector fitting plate 3, and a lip part of a grommet attached to the operation plate part 32 sticks to the peripheral edge of a connector installation hole to obtain waterproofness to the first connector housing 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
