<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric leakage detection device which can quickly detect an electric leakage. <P>SOLUTION: An electric leakage detection device 100 includes: a pulse generator 2 supplying a pulse to a coupling capacitor C1; a voltage detector 6 detecting a voltage of the coupling capacitor C1; an electric leakage determination unit 7 which compares the voltage detected by the voltage detector 6 with a first threshold value and which determines, based on the comparison result, whether an electrical leakage of a direct current power source B occurs or not; and an electric discharge determination unit 8 which compares the voltage detected by the voltage detector 6 with a second threshold value being smaller than the first threshold value and which determines whether or not the detected voltage is made smaller than the second threshold value by the electric discharge of the coupling capacitor C1.
