<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink that improves the dispersibility of the ink, excels in discharge stability and storage stability, and can obtain a printed matter in which an image density is high and bleeding is suppressed, wherein the printed matter is excellent in scratch resistance and marker resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The inkjet recording ink includes water, a water-soluble organic solvent, a colorant, and a surfactant, wherein the surfactant for dispersing the colorant is selected from the group consisting of anionic surfactants represented by formula (1) and has an HLB value of at least 12 and at most 20.
