<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support device to be used for improving manufacturing efficiency of an external column to which an external wall material is fitted. <P>SOLUTION: A support device 100 for supporting a frame 200A is provided with a column 10, a lower jig 30 with a lower arm material 31 of which base end is installed at the lower part of the column 10 and in which a lower support member 33 is installed at the tip, and an upper jig 50 having an upper arm material 51 of which base end is installed at the upper part of the column 10 so as to be turnable with respect to the column 10 and an upper support member 53 installed at the tip of the upper arm material 51.
