<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a column packing material which is excellent in reproducibility of performance, and also to provide a method of measuring a sample by liquid chromatography using the column packing material obtained by using the method of manufacturing the column packing material, and a method of measuring hemoglobins. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the column packing material for the liquid chromatography composed of a hydrophilic cross-linked polymer particle, includes: a step 1 of obtaining a dispersion liquid by dispersing a cross-linkable monomer into an aqueous dispersion medium; a step 2 of agitating the dispersion liquid for one hour or more at a temperature which is equal to or higher than the melting point of the cross-linkable monomer and at which polymerization reaction of the cross-linkable monomer does not substantially advance; a step 3 of, while keeping a reaction system at a constant temperature, obtaining a cross-linked polymer particle by performing a first polymerization reaction in the presence of a polymerization initiator; a step 4 of cooling the temperature of the reaction system to 5 to 40°C; a step 5 of adding a hydrophilic monomer to the reaction system and agitating the reaction system at 5 to 40°C for 0.2 to 24 hours; and a step 6 of, while keeping the reaction system at the constant temperature, performing a second polymerization reaction to polymerize the hydrophilic monomer on the surface of the cross-linked polymer particle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
