<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To minimize increase in the assembly man-hour or assembly time by inserting an electrode wire, such as a bus bar, automatically into the terminal hole of a terminal provided in a terminal box. <P>SOLUTION: In the method of inserting an electrode wire BB into the terminal hole 73 of a terminal 72 provided in a terminal box 70, a bending device 12 with a bending die 31 is positioned at a specific position with respect to the terminal box 70, and the tip of the electrode wire and the bending device and the terminal box are moved relatively so that the electrode wire is inserted into the terminal box from the tip side thereof.
