<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device of a multi-cylinder internal combustion engine which can perform the arithmetic processing of each cylinder by two CPUs at proper timing while minimizing calculation loads of the CPUs. <P>SOLUTION: The device includes an electronic control unit 40B comprising a main CPU 41 and sub-CPU 42. The main CPU 41 executes arithmetic processing for performing cylinder discrimination and arithmetic processing for calculating a control target value of a fuel injection amount. On the basis of the result from the arithmetic processing, operation signals including a driving pulse for valve opening drive of fuel injection valves 20 and a dummy pulse with a pulse width not opening fuel injection valves 20 at the timing set in advance before the driving pulses are outputted to each fuel injection valve 20 and the sub-CPU 42, respectively. The sub CPU 42 specifies a cylinder executing fuel injection immediately thereafter based on the input of the dummy pulse, and carries out arithmetic processing for detecting fuel pressure by a pressure sensor 51 corresponding to the specific cylinder. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
