<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid supply apparatus that can suppress a load applied to a movable part of each buffer chamber during choke cleaning, and a liquid ejecting apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: An ink supply apparatus 20 of a printer 11 includes: each liquid supply path 27 for supplying ink from the upstream side, being the side of each ink cartridge 15, toward the downstream side being the side of a liquid ejection head 19; each pump 29; each buffer 30 that is provided on the downstream side of the pump 29 in each liquid supply path 27 and has a movable part which temporarily stores the ink ejected from the pump 29, and also, pressure-feeds the temporarily stored ink toward the side of the liquid ejection head 19; and each choke valve 33 which is provided between each buffer 30 and the liquid ejection head 19 in each liquid supply path 27 and closed to block the liquid supply path 27 when negative pressure on the downstream side, being the side of the liquid ejection head 19, is greater than pressure on the upstream side being the side of the buffer 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
