<p>The coupling has a housing comprising a housing cover (2) and a housing body (8) connected and latched with each other in water and dust proof manner. The housing cover and body comprise a rotary component at a longitudinal axis of Bowden cable casings and Bowden cable cores (1, 9) over axial movement regarding the Bowden cable casings. The cable cores are mounted along the longitudinal axis over a preset maximum path in movable manner. The cable cores are axially coupled within the housing and mounted within a shifting space (23) of the housing in sliding manner. An independent claim is also included for a method for detachable coupling of two Bowden cable casings and cable cores.</p>
