PURPOSE: A data transmitting circuit and a memory device including the same are provided to improve data transmission efficiency by decreasing the application time of a write command in an operation with a short burst length. CONSTITUTION: A serial/parallel converting unit(305) converts serially inputted data of multi bits into parallel data and controls the number of bits of the converted data and a conversion point according to an operation mode. A data transmitting unit(307) transmits data converted according to an operation mode to a first data path and a second data path.
