Disclosed is a method for repairing a coke oven, the method having excellent workability when a combustion chamber the oven wall bricks of which have to be repaired by replacement is long. The area wherein the oven wall bricks (7) are to be repaired by replacement is divided into the back area and the front area, and the coking chambers (21) behind the back area (3) wherein the oven wall bricks are to be repaired by replacement are heat-insulated. In the state, the oven wall bricks (7) of the combustion chamber (22) in the back area (3) are laid. When the laying of the oven wall bricks (7) of the combustion chamber (22) in the back area (3) is completed, the coking chambers (21) in the back area (3) are heat-insulated. In the state, the back area (3) is elevated in temperature and the oven wall bricks (7) of the combustion chamber (22) in the front area (2) wherein the oven wall bricks are to be repaired by replacement are laid. Therefore, even when the combustion chamber (22) the oven wall bricks (7) of which have to be repaired by replacement is long, it is possible to shorten the length of a sequence of the oven wall bricks (7) to be laid actually of the combustion chamber (22), so that the method has the excellent workability even if the coking chambers (21) are small in width. |
