PURPOSE: An electric-powered medical bed with a tilting function is provided to detect the acute angle between a seat back and a thigh support. CONSTITUTION: An electric-powered medical bed with a tilting function comprises a rotary unit, first and second actuators(120,130), a control box(140), sensors(150), and a controller(160). The rotary unit is combined with one side of a main frame through a rotary shaft in order to be tilted and comprises a seat back which raises one side of a mattress and a thigh support which raises the other side of the mattress. The first and second actuators separately tilt the seat back and thigh support. The control box is connected to the first and second actuators and controls the first and second actuators. A pair of the sensors senses an angle between the seat back and thigh support. The controller controls the control box so that the seat back and thigh support can be linked with each other.
