<p>The device has a labeling assembly comprising a pallet rotor (12) with a pallet shaft (19) that is connected with a pallet (18). A gripping cylinder (30) has a gripper (20) with gripping fingers. The pallet is arranged at the pallet shaft in a displaceable manner such that a front edge of the pallet is aligned on an edge of a label in a labeling container with respect to a rotating direction of the rotor during taking of the label from the labeling container. A conveyor table (6) transports the labeling container, and the labeling assembly is adjusted relative to the conveyor table.
