NON-INVASIVE AND FRACTIONATIONAL GAMMA KNIFE IMMOBILIZATION SYSTEM AND MASK FIXED POSITION CORRECTING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A non-invasion division measurement knife fixing system and mask fixing location compensation method using the same are provided to control the fixing location of a mask installed on a gamma-knife frame using a compensation value. CONSTITUTION: A mask includes a marker for recognizing a plurality of locations formed at an outside surface. The mask fixes the head of a patient on a gamma-knife frame in a stereotactic radiation surgery. Two or more CCD(Charge Coupled Device) image devices(120) obtain images from two or more directions of a patient head. An image processing unit(130) stores the images obtained from the CCD image device from an initial surgery process. The image processing unit compares the marker coordinate of the initial image with the marker coordinate of the additional image in an additional surgery process. The image processing unit compensates errors for wearing the mask by computing the error of the marker coordinate between the additional image and the initial image.
