PURPOSE: A coin input and output apparatus is provided to improve the accuracy and reliability of an apparatus by accurately counting coins. CONSTITUTION: A coin input and output apparatus(100) includes a body(10) and a coin classification unit(20). A coin input groove is formed at a side of the body. The coin classification apparatus classifies coins according to kinds of the coin through the coin input groove. The coin classification apparatus includes a camera(21) and an image determination unit(22). The camera captures the coin. The image determination unit distinguishes the coin by comparing the captured image with reference information.
