5-AMINOLEVULINIC ACID-CONJUGATED HYALURONIC ACID NANOPARTICLES FOR PHOTODYNAMIC THERAPY

PURPOSE: A photosensitizer used for photodynamic therapy(PDT) is provided to minimize side effects and to enable quick treatment for patients. CONSTITUTION: An aminolebulinic acid-conjugated hyaluronic acid nanoparticle photodynamic therapy(PDT) is a photosensitizer of hyaluronic acid-histidine-aminolebulinic acid(HAhs-ALA) conjugate. The size of the photosensitizer is 50-300 nm. A method for preparing the photosensitizer comprises: a step of conjugating hydrizid to a carboxyl group of hyaluronic acid by covalent bond; a step of conjugating histidine by covalent bond to form a hyaluronic acid-histidine(HAhs) conjugate; and a step of conjugating hyaluronic acid to an amine group of the conjugate to prepare a hyaluronic acid-histidine-aminolebulinic acid conjugate.
