The present invention provides a trolley device 100, including a rigid board (7 figure 2) suitable for a small child to stand on, at least one castor wheel (5), a board mounting, and at least two elongate tethers (3), wherein each tether includes a distal clasp (1) which can be connected to the trolley 200 with the tether axis fixed parallel with the axis of the trolley at both distal ends. The clasps may be hooked over wires of the trolley body, and may include hook and loop fasteners, or press-studs. The tethers may be height adjustable (figure 6), and the device may be provided with a security RFID tag and a coin release mechanism. Different size devices for different size/weight children may be provided, with a colour coding system indicating the suitable device. The device allows a child to stand on the board whilst a carer pushes the trolley around a store or shop. |
