<p>The unit comprises a drive (1) moving a parallel shaft gear (3) driving a bevel gear (7) with a pinion (6) and a crown wheel (8). The crown wheel (8) is connected to a wheel hub (9). Both transmission units (3,7) are accommodated within two separate chambers (14,15) inside a housing (13) divided by a radial shaft seal ring (11). Each of the chambers (14,15) is provided with a ventilation device and partly filled with a lubricant, which can be different in every space (14,15).</p> |
