<p>The rotary closure comprises a cap, an insert (3) arranged in the cap, where the insert has a closure element (31, 32, 33) for closing an opening of a container movably arranged relative to a central axis of the cap, and an alignment element (341, 342) for aligning the closure element relative to the opening during the closure of the container. The cap has a thread for mounting the cap at a corresponding counter-thread of the container by rotating the cap in a locking direction. The insert is pivotally connected with the cap via a bearing (35). The first stop is formed by a protrusion, which extends itself from an end face of the insert in an inner space of the cap.
